What I’m calling a “ladder chair” is modeled after the tall chair a tennis umpire sits in. I made these for Sarah Buckius and Melanie Manos — together they form the ManosBuckiusCollective. More specifically they were for a performance piece during the 2010 Art Prize competition called “Pushing Paper”.
